Generating intense white strobing and multicoloured pixel zone effects the Meteor 784 IP Batten features a central strip of 112 x 3W cool white SMD LEDs, surrounded on both sides by a total of 672 x 1.5W RGB colour mixing SMD LEDs. All the LEDs are divided into independently controllable zones (16 white and 32 colour). With a wide beam angle the fixture is ideally suited to concerts, festival stages and installations. A clever twist to this fixture is the ability to switch the front glass to a frosted output. The Intelliglass Technology® developed on this fixture allows the user to simply switch a DMX channel and alternate between clear and frost effects eliminating the need for additional frost filters. A quick-positioning twist-lock mechanism on two sides ensures the fixtures always line up when used in multiples, and the IP65 rated housing weighs in at only 8.7kg.
